Administrative Assistant

Salary Scale: C4 - £21,189 per annum pro-rata (Actual salary £7,356 per annum)

15 hours per week, term time plus 1 week

Permanent

September 2023 start


The Trustees and Governors of Edith Cavell Academy are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join our thriving team.


Personal qualities are of paramount importance, and the individual appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. They must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.


Applicants should have very good interpersonal skills; good general knowledge of IT and data based applications, word processing and general office skills.


The role is 15 hours per week across two days (ideally Monday and Friday).


Previous experience of working in a school environment is preferable but not essential. The applicant must be prepared to undergo in-house training and undertake an enhanced DBS check.
