Job Description

WRc part of the RSK Group is hiring for a Agroecology Systems & Bioversity Lead to join the WRc team to provide expert guidance and advice to our clients in the area of regenerative agriculture, and to help them achieve their sustainability and profitability goals. Developing a team of consultants and ensuring that they are delivering high-quality services to our clients.

This is a full time position based in Swindon with Hybrid working.

The postion will focus on several aspects such as Client Management & Business Development, Team Management, Technical Expertise, Research and Development, Collaboration and Implementation, Impact Assessment and Industry Engagement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide expert advice and guidance on regenerative agriculture practices.
  • Work with clients to develop and implement customized regenerative agriculture plans to achieve their sustainability and profitability goals.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of regenerative agriculture practices implemented by clients and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Identify areas along supply chain where biodiversity net gain can be achieved.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and trends in regenerative agriculture practices and share this knowledge with clients and team members.
    • Provide technical expertise in areas such as soil health, crop rotation, grazing management, and other sustainable farming practices.
  • Conduct research on regenerative agriculture practices and their potential application in the fashion supply chain.
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in regenerative agriculture and sustainable fashion.
  • Collaborate with fashion brands and suppliers to develop and implement regenerative agriculture practices for sourcing raw materials.
    • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of regenerative agriculture practices.
  • Assess and monitor the environmental and social impact of raw material production and develop strategies to mitigate negative impacts.

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering consulting services relevant to the role.
  • You will hold an MSc or preferably a PhD in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Active user of all forms of appropriate media, be competent in developing content in line with corporate guidance and will be empowered to use personal and company social media accounts to fulfil your role.
  • Experience of translating strategy into delivery through plans, programmes, people, and culture.
