Job Description Summary

As a Healthcare Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well being and social needs of our residents. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.

Delivering a level of care that truly comes from the heart. It’s about making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the care home. And, whether you’re helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you’ll always have their well-being in mind above anything else.

- Provide a high level of care to our residents ensuring their wellbeing

- Provide personal care, maintaining a high level of hygiene

- Assist our residents as necessary

- Identify and assist with residents’ needs

- Support our residents to maintain their independence

Job Details:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00 - £10.75 per hour (depends on experience and NVQ Level)

Area: Paignton TQ3

Job Type: Permanent

Full Time | Days Shifts available only

Hours: 36-48 Hours a week

12 hour Long Shifts

Requirements:

1. Applicant must have right to work in the UK

2. Applicant must have clear DBS either simple or enhanced.

3. Applicant must have at least 6 months prior to relevant working experience.

4. Applicant must be local and willing to do 12 hours shifts

5. Applicant must be able to provide 2 references prior

6. NVQ/QCF Level Preferred But Not Required

7.Applicant must be vaccinated

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
