Job Description

We require an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team as Coffee Shop Manager. This is a full time role Monday to Friday days/evenings and weekends.

Job Role:

Devising an appealing menu for our customers and members. Serving our customers hot drinks, snacks and light meals. Stock ordering. Baking home made goods to sell and some food prep. Some cleaning and organising of the coffee shop as well as supervision of a small team.

The right candidate will have autonomy to run this as a small business reporting to the two directors and will ideally have some business acumen and a good standard of common sense.

Making customers and visitors to the site feel welcomed and answering all of their questions.

  • Cleaning, organising, and maintaining the Coffee Shop area
  • Keeping basic supplies stocked and accessible to visitors
  • Ordering supplies and stock

  • Arranging for catering for meetings and daily office use
  • Greeting visitors to the facility warmly and offering them help immediately
  • Providing customer support
  • Answering questions about products or services offered at the business
  • Answering questions about office hours and who is in the office at any given time
  • Interacting with other departments such as Information Technology (IT) when someone needs more technical assistance
  • Scheduling appointments and meeting times
  • Maintaining front door security and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Putting through sales and/or assisting clients making orders
  • Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Engaging in public relations and marketing to a minor degree

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
