The Role:

Creation of engaging, commercial written content for all Majestic touchpoints, especially direct mail and email campaigns, as well as for web, retail and social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write and refresh copy for past and upcoming lines into the business.

• Research and write SEO-optimised blog articles for the Majestic blog.

• Take increasing ownership of key pieces of the DM in our customer calendar.

• Manage key areas of DM production, utilising agencies and proofreaders.

• Act as a tone of voice and content guardian for product copy and marketing emails.

• Write convincing and accurate B2B marketing emails for Majestic Commercial.

• Write engaging copy needed for all touchpoints, including e-commerce, retail, Majestic Commercial, social media.

• Pick up ad-hoc briefs to support the needs of the rest of the content team.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and plan workload effectively and independently.

• Previous marketing experience preferred but not essential.

• Previous writing or journalism background preferred.

• Creative and commercial motivation.

• Good knowledge of wine, beers and spirits, as well as an understanding of Majestic customers.

• Total commitment to attention to detail.

• Highly organised and ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work well with other key teams and departments.

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

• Location: Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office.
