We have a new digital focused Development role that sits within the platform team, one of the most exciting teams at CFC. We are building a next generation automated underwriting platform and API, with a forward-thinking underwriting team to support it. Digital distribution requires a different approach in terms of business development and the analysis of partner performance. We are looking for a critical thinker that is able to adapt and thrive in the ever-changing digital space.

About the role

You will be a core member of CFC’s platform team, a newly formed business unit that is responsible for delivering on our digital distribution strategy and increasing the proportion of business that we are writing through online channels. Working alongside the platform manager, you’ll be building and maintaining relationships with our partners that trade digitally with CFC to improve conversion and adoption. You will also be responsible for understanding the digital insurance distribution landscape in CFC’s core territories of the US, UK, Canada & Australia. You’ll also be managing our strategic API partnerships and identifying new partners that have the technical capability to integrate with the CFC API.

About you

You have knowledge of specialty commercial insurance products and have had some exposure to digital distribution. An understanding of APIs and related terminology is beneficial but not essential. You´ll have 3-5 years business development or relation management experience in insurance, with solid business and technical acumen. You are comfortable interacting with a wide range of client contacts, including director and C-suite level stakeholders, and have excellent communication skills and are comfortable presenting to audiences
