What are we looking for?

The Team Lead (TL) functions as the primary expert for the applications assigned as their area of responsibility. The Team Lead (TL) will report to the Digital Manager for Cleveland Clinic London and will be responsible for the maintenance, production break/fix, change request, project work, testing and change control procedure activities impacting their applications. The TL takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Digital Manager and Deputy Managers to work on priorities and manage the resolution of escalated issues.


The TL will serve as the primary support contact for their respective applications as well as serve as a point of contact for various other applications within their assigned team. The TL will serve as a leader with overall responsibility for software analysis and design, application and system installation and implementation for any new services, modules and optimisation work. Provides best solutions to identified needs, meeting operational and business objectives, technology capabilities, and human resource requirements. Maintains the ongoing service relationships between the IT department and its direct application customers, and is a liaison to other departments and entities. They will work with the Digital Deputy Manager to coordinate all issues that arise for their respective applications and must be very knowledgeable of the organisation's policies, procedures, and business operations. Provides after-hours support in an on call capacity.


What will your duties include?

  • Partners with subject matter experts and other Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management to ensure build consistency and successful end to end patient centric workflow.
  • Participates in IT projects, including planning, obtaining customer input and projecting resource requirements.
  • Work with the Deputy Manager to review system requirements with customers and translates requirements into specific functions or deliverables.
  • Provides support to team members as well as serving as the initial point of contact for their assigned team.
  • Identifies and resolves complex issues. This includes identification of appropriate parties and potential solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Works with all clinical, business and technical resources in a positive, supportive and collaborative team manner.
  • Work with the Deputy Manager to carry out complex analysis of process workflows, data collection and reporting requirements interpreting into design where necessary.
  • Analyses flow chart processes and recommends ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through use of technology.



What we need from you?

  • Minimum of 1 years of lead or supervisory experience with demonstrated experience in information system development (Essential)
  • Experience with supporting a major system in a clinical or system analyst capacity (Essential)
  • Understanding of Epic modules, ancillary systems, and health system operations (Essential)
  • Experience working with in an agile environment (Essential)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field
  • Significant experience of working at a senior level in specialist area may offset the degree requirement
  • Currently certified on 1 or more clinical EPIC application(s) within the area of focus of Inpatient, Outpatient/Ambulatory (Essential)
