Duty Manager

Hub Box, Unit North 2 Unit 1b Unit 1c, Melville, Royal William, Plymouth PL1 3RP

Salary: up to £12 -£12.50 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent Full Time 40 hours

To be considered, you’ll have a number of years of experience managing a busy, high-volume restaurant, alongside a huge passion for incredible service, provenance & all things people & planet.

As an Assistant Manager, you join our restaurant legends to:

• Support the General Manager (GM) In leading the restaurant team in the delivery of our ambition. In case you missed it above… It’s our ambition to make Hub Box a favourite for our customers & awesome for our people, while always doing good for our planet
• Create opportunities to coach, mentor & train the restaurant team
• Assist the GM in shaping the rosters to ensure we have the right people in the restaurant at the right time
• Be available to recruit & select Front of House team members alongside the GM
• Smash the commercials by optimising performance & productivity
• Keep the restaurant safe, sound & compliant by ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety, The Good Work Plan & The Working Time Regulations
• Deliver restaurant wide knock-your-socks-off customer service with smiles, chat & pace always

Once you’ve applied, we will:

2. If we get a feeling that you might be great for the role, we will arrange to have an initial chat with you to find out more. If we don’t feel that you are right for the role right now, we will (if you want it) give you feedback.

3. If your initial chat goes well, we will invite you in for an interview. You should know that as much as this is for us to get to know you better, it is for you to get to know us too.

4. All being well at the interview we will invite you in asap for a taster shift.

5. Upon completion of your taster shift, we always love to hear what you think, we will provide you with feedback & depending on how that goes we will hopefully be able to offer you the job, welcome you to the Hub Box team & get you started with us. P.S We will also feed you at the end of your taster shift regardless of whether you join us or not.
