My client is a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing business, with over 300 employees on site in Leeds. You will become a valued member of the finance team on site, and will work closely with the wider business. They offer a supportive working environment, operating a hybrid working pattern with a blend of office and home working.
As Finance Analyst, your duties will include:
- In depth financial analysis of monthly results, presenting to all levels of management
- Involvement in the review of manufacturing processes to build knowledge and assist in monthly cost analysis
- Preparation of annual budget process
- Assisting the Finance Manager with cashflow forecasting
- Production of regular operational forecasts
- Interact with other departments, primarily sales and production, building and maintaining effective relations to aid the decision making process
- Working closely with the team of accountants to support with the production of monthly accounts for local and international reporting
- Working closely with MIS team to build on internal processes and identify, test and implement improvements
- Ad hoc support to Finance Director
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Manufacturing experience (essential)
- Analytical mindset
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data
- Confident liaising with and influencing non-finance stakeholders
- Team player
- Adaptable and used to working in fast-paced environments
In return, the client is offering a competitive salary c£45-50k (dependent on experience), plus wider package. They are operating a hybrid working pattern, with a blend of home and office working.
