Forklift Driver

Location - Sittingbourne

Full time hours Monday to Friday – 5:30 am to 2 pm

Permanent

Salary £12.55 per hour

Have you got experience as a Forklift driver?

Our client, a large food/agricultural business based in Sittingbourne, is currently looking to recruit a Forklift Driver on a permanent basis for an hourly rate of £12.55 per hour

The successful candidate will be an experienced counterbalance forklift truck driver with basic PC operating skills, working alongside your colleagues and supervisors to ensure the correct product is loaded onto the product line and recording all stock usage on the area PC

As the Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will initially be working Monday – Friday, various shifts available

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of all equipment in line with the company H&S policy.
• Follow the production plan ensuring correct stock is issued to the production line.
• Ensure all stock usage is recorded accurately using the area PC.
• Give handover reports to next shift detailing any issues or concerns
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Person Specification:

• Holder of a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, ideally flexi
• Able to carry out manual work
• Ideally would have worked in manufacturing previously
• Must have own transport due to location of the site
