Job Description

As the HR Business Operations Manager, you will embrace working in a busy environment across three sites and will manage the smooth-running of operational areas including Premises, HR and IT.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within, or introducing, systems and processes in a way that is collaborative and supportive to all staff. You will understand the importance of clear, timely and effective communication, remain calm within a dynamic environment and truly want to support staff and students to achieve their best work.

Working closely with the Principal and CEO, you will have responsibility for the premises and administrative HR operations of the organisation and its subsidiaries, to ensure it can continue to operate efficiently and effectively.

The Successful Applicant

As the HR Business Operations Manager, you will have:

  • Strong working knowledge of HR procedures
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary operational management
  • Sound commercial acumen and strong financial understanding
  • Ability to work under own initiative making decisions and resolving issues
  • Highly adaptable, strong influencer of people and proactive approach
  • Ideally have experience in a Higher Education and/or creative setting
  • Experience of working with/in the charity sector
  • Experience of change management processes and their implementation
