Role:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join a large and well-established public sector client of ours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect company assets and information. The Information Security Manager will be working closely with other teams, including IT, legal and compliance, to ensure that security practices are up to date and effective.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Monitor and investigate security incidents and breaches, and develop incident response plans.
- Manage third-party security assessments and audits.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into the company's technology systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Public sector experience preferable.
- Strong experience with information security and management.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of security professionals.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to information security, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and PCI.
- Ability to come on site when required.
