Internal Account Manager – Godalming, Surrey

£28,000 – £35,000 + £6k commission and great benefits


Due to continued growth, our client has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and organised Internal Account Manager. As Internal Account Manager you will join a company with a lovely environment, based in the Financial Service Sector. The Internal Account Manager will work with existing vendors and customers, supporting Business Development, helping to maintain and nourish existing relationships, whilst helping to develop new business. This role is mainly office based with the option for two days a week home working and has plenty of opportunity for progression with full training.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and follow up on quotes to customers.
  • Propose credit applications.
  • Work closely with the Administration team in preparing finance documents.
  • Prepare and send out welcome packs to new customers.
  • Reply to customer and vendor general enquiries.
  • Liaise with the Marketing Manager to send out campaigns.
  • Attend joint meetings with Business Development Managers as and when required.
  • Help research and identify new customer and vendor opportunities using LinkedIn, existing database and customers.

Skills and Experience

  • Microsoft Office and experience using internal databases.
  • Strong and professional communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of people from large and small business owners, sales directors and individual sales people.
  • Hardworking, with a positive attitude and be adept at working both within a team and independently.
  • Working within a B2B environment would be preferrable.
