Are you a creative marketer with a passion for social media?
Sam Turner & Sons are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing social media and traditional media campaigns that promote our brand, engage with our audience, and generate revenue. You will work closely with the digital team to create and execute a comprehensive media strategy across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media campaigns that support our marketing objectives and drive engagement with our target audience.
- Monitor and respond to social media comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyse social media metrics and use the data to continually improve our social media strategy.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, and use this knowledge to improve our social media presence.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in our messaging and branding across all channels.
- Assist with the development of marketing materials, including email campaigns, print materials, and website content.
- Help to organize and execute events and other marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media marketing.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- The ability to create content for a range of audiences.
- Experience in photography and photo/video editing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- We would be willing to provide training for candidates with limited experience but an aptitude for marketing and a desire to learn.
