We're recruiting for an exciting Marketing Executive 9 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity within our Nectar Marketing team.
The Marketing Executive will assist in the planning and execution of all the Nectar Brand and Trade marketing activities communicating the exciting Asahi portfolio of Beers and Cider, along with our other fantastic brand partners across Beers, Cider, Spirts, Wine and Soft drinks. You will be accountable for both On and Offline marketing deliverables.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating new and exciting brand strategies in line with our AUK brand and trade marketing teams. Taking their lead, but translating these plans into relevant and engaging campaigns, and content for Nectar’s existing and prospect Free Trade customers. The role is a busy one with many plates spinning at a given time, so you must be capable and confident to manage multiple marketing activities across our platforms to contribute directly towards achieving our brands and overall business objectives, contributing to sales growth and retention.
Key accountabilities
Campaign Delivery
- Working with the Marketing Manager, take responsibility for creating specific marketing activities for both Portfolio and product campaigns and keeping up to date with the annual marketing plan. This may include digital brochures, web site and APP content, social media and Newsletters as well as events.
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of the campaigns throughout the year and ensuring the marketing plan is up to date, brand owners are kept regularly informed on deliverables and necessary artwork/content is supplied on time and to spec and all work delivered on time.
Digital Communications
- Responsible for ensuring that the web content schedule is delivered on time and that all budgets are met.
- Includes website maintenance and the delivery of engaging content for both own brands (Asahi) and 3rd party brand associates.
- Manage digital communications and social media by curating content, scheduling themes and prioritising specific Product launches and campaigns, reviewing results and act on learnings to maximise our presence online.
Administration, Process and Systems
- Manage budgets and payments with suppliers, timely Invoicing and recording all supplier activities.
- On-going management of all product photography, marketing assets and video library as well as our Business SharePoint.
Communication
- Customer focused approach in all marketing activities internally and externally.
- Adhere to all brand guidelines, GDPR and ensuring appropriate and timely approvals with internal stakeholders e.g Corp Affairs and Brand Marketing when producing and executing communications.
- Responsible for the organisation and delivery of internal launch events, customer trade shows, and working closely with the sales team on ad hoc business opportunities across the South of England.
Experience & Key attributes of the successful candidate required
- Knowledge of the creative process from the defining the initial brief to the final delivery and reviewing performance and learnings.
- Ability to write accurate, imaginative copy and communicate across all mediums with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of web content management systems (CMS) and email software (Campaign monitor).
- Knowledge of social media platforms, ability to produce engaging content (B2B audience), with evidence of managing successful campaigns.
- Competent in assessing data analytically and accurately presenting recommendations from insight formed to improve and direct future marketing activity as result.
- Computer proficient with MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, CRM, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- A collaborative creative thinker that can work as part of a team but also use own initiative to suggest solutions and make things happen.
- Confidently administer and manage multiple projects with good prioritisation skills working to deadlines.
- Excellent, flexible design skills that reflect and support the existing brand look and feel.
- Interest in developing technologies which further the brand interests, aid communication and deliver other positive benefits.
- Previous experience in a drinks Company is a massive plus, but also working closely with field sales desired

- Adobe In design preferred
- CMS experience
