We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Network Optimisation Advisor to join our Supplier Engagement team in Birmingham. You will be primary contact for assigned suppliers and it will be your responsibility to help them develop into efficient, successful Engineius suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting our suppliers after they have completed the initial onboarding process.
Building relationships with suppliers, by delivering ongoing support and training.
Brokering movements across our network to make sure every vehicle movement we have is pre-allocated to a supplier.
Manage your own group of suppliers and to ensure they meet operational and financial KPIs.
Difficult conversations will be required, as there will be occasions when remedial action is necessary.
Mentoring suppliers, helping them to improve by providing honest feedback
There is a sales element to the role.
Effectively planning drivers days to ensure vehicles are collected/delivered on time and limiting drivers travel between movements.

What Skills Are Required?

Transport Planning experience is desirable.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will spend a large amount of time on the phone with suppliers.
Ability to collaborate with your internal team effectively.
We are a growing business and we want someone who can contribute new ideas and looking for ways to improve current procedures and processes.
Good negotiation skills would be a bonus.
