Occupational Health Physician
Location – Sandwich, Kent & Tadworth, Surrey
Salary – up to £25.36 per hour
Hours – 7.4hrs a week alternating between both sites
Contract – 23-month contract

We have a unique opportunity to support both of our clients’ sites for an Occupational Health Physician to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working part-time, initially on a 23-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the delivery of an occupational health service to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Health & safety Standards
- Delivery of occupational health risk assessments, surveillance, workplace injury & illness investigation, advise on medical emergency preparedness and response, case manage absence cases, promote & develop wellness programmes for good workplace health
- Using knowledge base to advise mainly in the UK, but extending advice globally when required
- Optimising systems and/or equipment in term of performance
- Promoting relevant workplace health and wellness activities/projects
- Considering operational expenses & supporting the team to maintain our budget
- Preparation for internal and external audits
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience
- A medical degree & have a Diploma in Occupational Medicine, or hold an AFOM/MFOM & have previous experience in working as a OH Physician
- Ensure Company complies with applicable regulatory laws and regulations and Global Colleague wellness medical support standards in Occupational Health Management
- Able Provide basic counselling to colleagues on health-related issues & signpost to relevant resources & update the business regarding fitness for work & reasonable adjustments for consideration
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Form effective working relationships with relevant partnered groups for work activities both locally and globally
