The Job You’ll Do;
- Receive customer schedules and translate into accurate sales data.
- Produce detailed production plans, monitor performance to plan and advise / implement corrective.
- Reviewing capacity against demand.
- Manage finished stock levels in line with company targets to ensure we achieve 100% delivery performance.
- Cycle count monitoring of Inventory stock/ Packaging.
- Management of customer portal’s - OTIF - Packaging – Transport.
- Supplier Liaison for EAD, Commercial invoicing to ensure supply to customer.
- Regular and effective communication to Internal and external stake holders.
- Management of Customer EDI (Darwin) / Sending EDI to Customers.
- Creation of Odette labels/ Picking list for Logistics.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement activities within the Production Control area.
- Be a key member of the New Projects team with responsibility for co-ordinating all Production Control and Logistics activities during new project introduction.
- Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures.
- Management of data on the MRP system to achieve business KPI’s.
About You;
- Demonstrated success in a high quality, high volume, lean environment.
- Have a good working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Kingfisher) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated success in making significant contribution to continuous improvement activities.
- Have an understanding / awareness of e- business systems.
- Demonstrated success in implementing JIT, Kanban, Lean principles.
- Ideal candidates should be educated to HNC level and have membership of the Institute of Operations Management.
