The Role
We are currently hiring a Production Manager to manage the production team, supervise and co-ordinate the production activities and operations within the department.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage overall assembly of company products which includes daily production, safety, product quality, and employee related issues.
• Organise workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet production targets.
• Ensure the target productivity level is achieved daily.
• Identify weekly and monthly KPIs and monitor performance against them.
• Communicate and liaise with other departmental managers regarding throughput of customer and stock works orders to ensure production targets are met.
• Estimate costs and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.
• Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.
• Order components and tools required for projects.
• Organise and test sample products.
• Organise the manufacture of point of sale displays.
• Ensure the consistency and correct quality of finished products.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements.
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment by ensuring employees are following safety protocols consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Manage department supervisors/employees and address performance issues as necessary.
• Undertake onboarding and training of production team members as required.
• Implement the companys policies and procedures.
• Monitor productivity rates, standards, and quality control.

Skills and Experience

• 
  Previous experience in Production Shift Manager/Production Supervisory role or similar role who is looking for progression.
• Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
• Excellent organisational and leaderships skills
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
• Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
• Experience with using Microsoft office applications.
