The Department of Culture, Communication and Media (CCM) is a department of IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society. It is committed to excellence in teaching, research and consultancy in the areas of: Media and Cultural Studies, Art, Design and Museology; Academic writing; English education: Applied Linguistics; Language Learning and Intercultural communication; Music Education; Multimodality studies; Learning with Digital Technologies.
The National Consortium for Languages Education (NCLE), funded by the Department for Education (DfE), works with a consortium of stakeholders, including the Goethe-Institut and the British Council and a national network of lead hub schools across England to increase uptake of languages qualifications in Key Stage 4 and 5 in English state-funded schools.
As Programme Administrator you will provide comprehensive support for the National Consortium for Languages Education’s programmes.
You will provide a high-quality administrative service to participants, facilitators, and delivery partners, working in close collaboration with other IOE programme administrators, programme leaders and professional colleagues from schools.
You should be pro-active in your work and demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a team. Experience in data management systems and producing management information reports is essential.
