Team NNUH are looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our busy team and continue our journey to improve every aspect of the recruitment experience for internationally recruited candidates joining or moving within our busy acute hospital.
You will be the first point of escalation for any recruitment queries that require resolution, providing advice and support to managers. You will need to be familiar with relevant legislation and policy in order to provide advice but retain a pragmatic approach that is supportive of a fast paced organisation.
This vacancy is for a full time position (37.5 hours per week). In order to meet the requirements of our service; we can consider part time applications however only on a job share basis (where you would share the duties normally undertaken by one full time employee) with another applicant. We recruit over 2000 people per year and your role will be to support a team who are advertising posts, checking interview documentation, preparing offer letters, preparing and issuing certificates of sponsorship, checking contractual terms and preparing payroll documents. You will need excellent levels of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and help others prioritise a busy and diverse workload.

1. Monitor and ensure the full and effective use of the ESR and E-Rec systems to process applications and provide management information.
2. Ensure that all recruitment processes comply with the Trust’s Recruitment Guidelines and NHS Standards issued by the Department of Health
3. Provide advice to managers concerning employment of migrant workers and applying for Certificates of Sponsorship (work permits)
4. Compiling standard reports/up to date analysis of recruitment as required
5. Assist in setting up Service Level agreements with divisions/departments and ensuring agreed timetables are adhered to
