Sales Coordinator

Based in Dover

£24,000 per annum Depending on experience

Hours - Full time 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday

Our client is a leading provider of logistics in Europe. Their extensive network of locations and partners exceptionally committed and well-trained employees and pioneering technology sets them apart from other logistic companies. They are now looking for a Sales Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide back-office support for those that you report to.
• To calculate and submit freight quotations to customers and follow them up accordingly.
• To process enquiries from Key Account customers together with the Sales Team member who initiated the contact.
• To process, communicate and distribute all successful quotations to the relevant departments in accordance with current procedures.
• Instigate the opening of new accounts – by credit checking, processing application forms and distributing the required information to the relevant departments.
• Inputting data in to the CRM system to ensure all clients’ details are up to date and accurate.
• Prepare monthly sales figures for Management.
• Maintain the Mailing List for various users and to carry out Mail Shots when required.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies

Specifications

• Must be IT literate and have strong experience of MS Office software
• Strong communication skills required for this role
• Must have an eye for detail in data
• The ability to work across departments for common good is imperative
• Ability to be part of a team and work towards common goals
• Open to additional training where required
