Informa Markets is a division of Informa Plc and houses the London based international sales team which is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic sales person to sell and provide customer care on a number of food and hospitality events across the Asian region


Job Description
  • Oversee and develop growth of sales across Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.
  • Selling to different level prospects and customers, keeping a good balance between face-to-face and telephone selling.
  • Working to targets with accurate reporting to senior management and keeping timely sales records.
  • Servicing existing customers to Informa Markets standards and maintain and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Liaising with principal offices and international representatives.
  • International travel to other food and hospitality events around the world as well as some visits to key clients.
  • To work with the principal office onsite at our shows dealing with all exhibitor issues and ensuring all sales opportunities are taken advantage of.

Qualifications


This position requires a well-motivated, ambitious and successful sales professional looking for greater input and overall management of the sales and marketing cycle, who can demonstrate:


  • Preferably some previous business to business sales experience
  • Preferably of graduate level but not essential.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resourcefulness when seeking out new business.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Good personal presentation.
  • Eagerness to understand the markets in which we operate in.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and other day to day computer programmes.
  • Desired but not essential: a basic knowledge of Salesforce

Additional Information


Working hours are 8-4:30.

Two days a week are in the office (Monday & Wednesday).

25 days holidays (pro rata), increasing to 27 days after 2 years.

You will be required to travel Asia to assist onsite with events.
