Sales Representative (field based)
Salary: £35,000 basic with realistic OTE £60,000 based on commission and bonus
Office based in Northampton when not visiting customers across UK

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their established manufacturing client located in Northampton. Our client has achieved continual annual growth for over a decade and is part of a £100m+ global business. Our client is heavily involved in the health and safety sector, manufacturing sector and food production/pharmaceutical sectors.
This role will be based from their Northampton HO, so the ideal candidate must be local and comfortable commuting to their office in the west side of Northampton multiple times per week. When you’re not visiting clients across the UK, you’ll be based in their office. You’ll report to the UK Sales Manager and work in a small team of Sales Reps.
Another fantastic thing about this role, it involves no telesales/ cold calling! As their product is so unique in their niche market, as a business they don’t do any telesales. A sales person’s dream right!
What you’ll do on a daily basis:
· Ensure sales growth by developing existing accounts as well as a new business, through sales leads
· Develop new and further enhance existing client relationships
· Resolve client issues and complaints
· Anticipate account changes and improvements
· Manage communications between clients and internal teams (based in Northampton office)
· Strategic planning to improve client results
· Negotiate contracts with clients and establishing a timeline of performance
· Document and manage sales activity including customer visits, opportunities, and account information through active use of Salesforce CRM
