Worley is continuing to grow its Asset Solutions team in the region and it’s therefore looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our UK based Reliability & Maintenance team as staff.
The successful candidate will join a fast-growing and agile team and will have the opportunity to deliver and manage maintenance & reliability consultancy projects across a range of energy sectors.
We are seeking a multi-tasking, self-motivated, enthusiastic, resilient and tenacious individual with a “can do” attitude and with a willingness to travel as required.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical electrical engineering expertise within the reliability space to support consultancy projects and perform RAM analysis, FMECA, RCM studies.
- Perform electrical system obsolescence studies
- Support life extension studies for all areas of electrical engineering
- Improve the effectiveness of maintenance schedules based on risk/reliability analysis
- Investigate causes of equipment failure/ reliability events
- Carrying out criticality studies and further developing spare parts management for existing and new plants
- Support Asset Management Maturity Assessment
- Provide key electrical discipline expertise to support with Concept and FEED developments
- Keep up to date with changes to legislation and ensure compliance with international standard and industry best practice
- Support the development and/or implementation of data management solution, asset performance monitoring and of risk-based maintenance tools
- Support Business Development activities
- Engage with customers to ensure that customer expectations and requirements are met.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience at as an electrical engineer, preferably in an operational environment
- Good understanding of electrical systems and components
- Able to work in UK
Desirable:
- Some Experience in performing reliability studies (i.e. RAM, FMECA, RCM)
- Experience performing electrical equipment obsolescence studies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage at all customer levels
- Knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems
- Previous familiarity with concept, FEED and detailed design engineering
- Knowledge of digital tools, programming languages is considered an advantage
- Experience in the wind sector is considered an advantage
- Good presentation skills
