What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to report to the Executive Director of International Strategy.

Embedded within the Strategy Office at Cleveland Clinic London (CCL), the Senior Project Manager will provide support on delivering strategic projects and aligning departmental project plans with wider CCL project streams, ensuring interdependencies are met. The primary project work will largely be allocated to the Strategy Office and the organisation’s strategic priorities. The Senior Project Manager will mentor the CCL Project Manager and Strategy Office interns, and act as a lead on transformation, Business Development / Growth and Strategic projects.

What will your duties include?

  • Responsible for defining a coordinated annual Strategy Office project plan linked to ET and strategic agenda; allocation of resource to meet aims.
  • Management of scope and implementation of a range of complex projects including:
    • Diagnosis and analysis of key organisational challenges to define key issues and action plans to resolve; lead on transformation and implementation of plans
    • Translation of key strategies, business cases, partnerships into action plans; implementation of plans.
    • Supports strategic growth projects in partnership with the Business Development function in the Strategy Office.
  • Timely updates to project plan, maintenance of data and data integrity, reporting, and building interdependencies between departments to direct departmental agendas to achieve aims
  • Lead and line manage Project Manager role
  • Lead and manage the Strategy Office internship programme
  • Management of project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Lead on relationships with external stakeholders and partners in delivering key projects
  • Complies with legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

What we need from you?

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or health care related field is required
  • Requires expertise of programme management within a complex organisation over a number of roles or equivalent progression.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading strategic projects that have involved taking a strategic approach to root cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Previous experience running cross functional projects to deliver revenue growth, cost reduction or service improvement.
  • Demonstrable experience of performing detailed analytics and modelling to support project approach and implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience in aligning external expertise and partners with internal stakeholders to achieve collaborative outcomes
  • Knowledge and experience of UK healthcare services (either NHS or private) is desirable
