As a Solutions Architect, you are part of the Global Services organisation, working with our Sales teams to scope services and support engagements for new and existing customers. You are a trusted product expert that works very closely with the client to understand their specific requirements. You assess how each project should be delivered and align the customer with the appropriate services.
- Proactively engage with Sales and Client Success while being an advocate for our Clients and delivery teams
- Work directly with Account Directors and Account Executives to ensure that the correct services and support packages are presented to meet our Clients’ needs
- Enable your assigned Sales team by coaching them on new service and support packages
- Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of Bazaarvoice SaaS offering implementations through continuous research and collaboration with delivery teams
- Determine scope of work based on solution requirements with both Client business and technical stakeholders
- Create tailored Statements of Work (SOW) detailing services activities, resourcing requirements, deliverables, timing, and budgeted hours
- Determine services pricing based on level of effort
- Confidently sell services and support packages to Clients
- Collaborate with Services leadership by accurately forecasting and projecting expected services bookings at a regular cadence
- Manage and properly set expectations with both internal and Client stakeholders
- Has five plus years in a Client facing role at a software/SaaS company, Previous software presales, consulting (preferred)
- Has experience selling enterprise software
- Communicates effectively with exemplary written, verbal and presentation skills
- Quickly solves complex problems in creative and repeatable ways
- Is able to work autonomously, but remains accountable to themselves, their team, and the greater organisation at which they work
- Has familiarity with Enterprise tech stacks and has previous experience with APIs, complex databases, SDKs, and other industry specific technologies
- Drives accountability with others
- Thrives in a world where change occurs quickly and sometimes with little warning
- Is proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau)
Nice to haves:
- Experience scoping professional services for SaaS implementations
- Experience selling Professional Services and Support packages
- Experience generating or executing SOWs
- Experience in the software/ e-commerce industry
- Ability to communicate well with developers about HTML, CSS, XML, and other Web technologies
- An analytical mind
- Entrepreneurial minded individual that loves to bring feedback to internal products and features teams
