The Purpose (of the role):
You are part of the Samlesbury Scheduling team reporting to the UK Scheduling Manager and will be responsible for the team delivering daily production plans. You will review and revise schedules according to availability of materials, bulk beer, resources and production capacity and clear communication of the information to all relevant customers and departments.

The role:
  • Create and manage integrated site schedules based on demand supplied by planning function and current materials status. Consider service level, costs, service aspects and the inventory policy.
  • Strive for optimal capacity utilization, act rigorously on shortage of stocks, out-of-stock risks and overstocks and propose corrections.
  • Ensure support to the other production operations for developing and attaining the schedules. Align scheduling plans with Materials, Returnable Packaging Planning, Supply Network Planning and Operations for the UK.
  • Coordinate with the site operations and central planning and schedule all requested production outages to minimize downtime across the site.
  • Work with the inventory team to manage material changes and reduce stocks.
  • Attend and chair daily and weekly VPO meetings to ensure all data is current, agreed and communicated.
  • Synchronize with other site schedulers and central planning to schedule road tanker beer into and out of the sites to ensure optimum efficiency of schedules within originating and destination sites.
  • Drive discussion and evaluation of the scheduling speeds
  • Determine production priorities.
Who we’re looking for:
  • 1-2 year experience in Supply Planning. Nice to have brewing or packaging experience
  • You know SAP/ERP and Excel from medium to advanced level. Experience with AS Infor ando9 would be a plus.
  • You're an honest and open owner, taking responsibility for the work you create
  • You're a people person with an ability to persuade
  • You have good analytical skills and are good with interpreting data
  • You always seek for solutions and have a plan B or C in mind
  • You are result driven, and you can search for solid solutions in case of conflicts between demand, available capacity, and operations.
