Key Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive, positive, and caring support to adults living in our service.
• Enable individuals to learn new skills, promoting greater independence.
• Assist and support individuals with their emotional and practical needs.
• Work effectively as part of a team and maintain a 'can do' attitude.
• Participate in developing and implementing person-centered care plans.

Requirements:

• Genuine interest in working with adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and professional references.

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £11.00-£14.91 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Plymouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Location: In person
