We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our wonderful, friendly, close-knit team as our client base continues to grow and flourish. This unique opportunity is for you if you are after a flexible working rota to give you the best work/life balance to suit your own commitments.
Having opened in March 2016, Bedlington Vets4Pets have steadily grown to establish a loyal client base in the heart of their local community. You will be joining an enthusiastic, dedicated team of 2 vets, 3 nurses, and 2 SVNs along with our experienced client care advisors and Client services manager.
As a general practice we try to keep as much in-house as possible and welcome a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and ultrasound specialist where needed. In addition, we work with regional RSPCA and CPL branches making our days varied and interesting. Admin slots are booked into our diary, and we offer extended appointments where needed to make sure our colleagues have the time, they need to provide the exceptional standard of care that really stands us out from the crowd.
Our practice has been purpose built to industry leading standards providing separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas. We are based in Bedlington, a market town in Northumberland situated close to the coast and just a short drive from Newcastle. Bedlington is also famous for giving its name to a well-known breed of terrier.
We are ideally looking for a full-time vet to join the team but we are open to discussion should you be looking for part time hours and we are looking for someone confident with routine consults and surgery. No OOH or sole charge will be required. Most of all we would love to find someone who compliments our friendly team and is as committed to providing the best care to our local community as we are.
